Albemarle Kart Club Association

Thank you for coming to our track website. The Albemarle Kart Club Association was established in 1978 for the enjoyment of go-kart racing for the young and the young at heart. The races are held on scheduled Saturday nights at the Dixeland Motor Sports Complex near South Mills, NC. The track is known as a "Drivers" track. It is said that if you can drive it at the Albemarle Oval you can drive it any where. Our members are from North Carolina as well as Virginia and we have a variety of classes to suit any karting enthusiast. You don't have to be member to race at the track. Come join us!

Anyone running for points in Heavy Novice or Medium Novice ONLY Must sign up for points by the 3rd actual race.

• New tire rule: Maxxis Tires Only (any compound allowed, unless otherwise noted.) Each class pts champ will receive a set of maxxis tires at the end of the season!!

• June 9th rain date will now be an official point race date to make up for the march 24th rain cancellation
